With years of practising real estate experience in Malaysia and Australia and a passion for the industry, he is poised to lead MIEA to new heights.

As the real estate market evolves rapidly, MIEA remains dedicated and committed to serving its members as a beacon of knowledge, advocacy and professional development in shaping the industry's future.

MIEA will proactively address the challenges and opportunities facing the industry's emerging trends. By embracing change and innovation, MIEA aims to empower its members with the knowledge, tools and technologies to excel in an ever-changing landscape. MIEA will continue to represent the interests of its members and drive the industry forward by adding value for its members in promoting best practices, enhancing skillsets, fostering collaboration and advocating for policies that will elevate professionalism to support and remain sustainable in a thriving real estate market.

Tan has served as a Board Member in the Board of Valuers, Appraisers, Estate Agents and Property Managers (BOVAEP), in which time he has held the role of Chair of the Estate Agency Practice Committee (EAPC) of the Board. He is currently an Associate Director with Hartamas Real Estate (M) Sdn Bhd.
