When it comes to litigation, Eric Lai Tuck Sing of Lai & Associates has done it all.

With more than 20 years of experience, the senior counsel has represented and advised clients from a broad spectrum of industries, including consultant engineers, construction, developers liquidators, computer and software industries and corporate individuals.

Not only has he represented clients up to the highest court of the land, but during his tenure, he has also done a variety of cases such as agency, criminal child abuse, leasing, insurance, factoring, banking, bankruptcy, liquidation, employment and industrial dispute, conveyancing, corporate advisory and litigation, construction, Information Technology, land disputes, fraud, patents, trademarks, merger and acquisition, receivership, product liability and general litigation matters.

His experience event extends to the corporate sector, where he has advised on property, tax (TAMS), insurance (CU-Commercial Union Assurance) and banking (Citibank) for some years before he practised as a lawyer.

He has given talks in seminars on Auditor responsibility and on the Companies Act 2016 when it was passed.

When Mr Lai is not in the courtroom, he spends his time giving back to the community through serving in NGOs such as Lion Club, MAKNA (National Cancer Council Malaysia) and FIABCI.

During the period of 2004 and 2005, he was awarded the Excellent Secretary Award for his effort and dedication. 

He also currently sits on the board of MAKNA as an EXCO member and Honorary Secretary and was President of Lion Club Of KL Sentul for 2010 to 2012.
